DESCRIPTION

The Battle of Fire Support Base Ripcord was a 23-day battle between elements of the U.S. Army 101st Airborne Division and two reinforced divisions of the North Vietnamese Army from July 1, 1970 until July 23, 1970. It was the last major confrontation between United States ground forces and North Vietnam of the Vietnam War.

Notes:

US Forces have access to a single Loach helicopter, it will despawn once objective E is taken. (This mechanism is subject to change)

The NVA do not have map spawned radios! Use your radiomen.

Helicopter pad is broken, it always destroys one of your skids and the left one doesnt work at all. Only the right one. Also the borders of the map for helicopter are a bit close.

Great map. I've just played my first two rounds on it. The balance is pretty good already.

I'd say we keep this one in rotation as it plays differently to any other i've played so far.
